On the 17th of June, I'll be free from exams and free for the summer! That's a whopping 89 days! Okay maybe minus the days I'll be working, but apart from that, I'll be freeeee! And there are a tonne of things that I want to do to fill up those days with fun activities!! Every year I make myself a summer bucket list of fun things that I want to get up to, and I would write them in the notes section of my phone or at the back of my planner. But this year I'm going to share it all with you!! I love reading other people's bucket lists as I can get so many ideas, so if you're going to be on summer holiday soon I hope you can take something away from this!
I found a quote on Pinterest that really inspired me to write this post which I want you guys to see:
The yearly bucket list oath:
I solemnly swear to create memories that last a lifetime.
I vow to make an impression on the world, not the couch.
I promise to dream about unrealistic goals.
And make them my reality.
- Have a bonfire and roast marshmallows on it
- Have a water balloon fight
- Have at least 3 picnics, one with friends, one with family, and one with my boyfriend.
- Go on a dolphin spotting trip while in Spain
- Swim in the sea
- Try a new type of food
- Make homemade lemonade
- Go to a waterpark
- Get up early to see the sunrise
- Go camping
- Go swimming at night
- Go on the new ride at Alton Towers
- Read 5 books (because I need to get back into reading again)
- Go to more yoga lessons

- Do some sort of water sport
- Make elderflower ice lollies
- Buy fruit from the farmers market and make super fresh smoothies
- Build a blanket fort
- Try cook a fancy meal for the family
- Make DIY colour powder and have a colour fight

- Make more art and explore my creativity
I really want this summer to be great and something to remember. I've always regretted not going out and doing more during the summer, but this time, I want to do my best to change that. Will I complete everything on this list? Most likely not, but at least I have something to aim towards right?
What're you going to get up up this summer?

I love this list, all of these sound like so much fun! I think the main thing I want to do this summer is travel and just have a lot of fun days with my friends as I haven't seen a lot of them recently due to uni etc! X

I always feel like I have wasted my summer and really want to get more active! I think because of exams as well, summer feels like the time to do all the things that you haven't been able too! I think my favourite on one is number 31 haha!

These are such great ideas, and I love the little 'bucket list oath' at the top! I always regret not being more productive during the summer, but (as I always say), this summer will be more exciting! I'll be working at a cafe, so hopefully I'll be able to practice my latte art there. I actually want to do every single one of these, especially the pizza parties, picnics, tie-dying and colour fight! I've actually burned old schoolbooks with friends before and it's so satisfactory.
ReplyDeleteOnly four days left of school now, we just have to stick it out!

OMG I literally love the idea of creating DIY powder paint for a colour fight, it's such a cool idea. I think it's so cool that you keep a travel diary too. I've just ticked making homemade lemonade off of my bucket list :)
